Keystone Behavioral Pediatrics celebrates the holidays!

KBP Christmas Presents for FSS

Keystone filled wish lists for 25 children in foster care to give back to the community during the holidays.

December was once again a special time at Keystone … holiday meals for staff, kids and families; decorations inside and out; twinkling lights hanging from reception desks; a field trip to see Polar Express, and, of course, Pajama Day on the last day. Two other very special holiday events stand out, as well.

Keystone made the holidays a little more special for 25 kids in Family Support Services’ foster care program. The clinic bought gifts on the children’s wish lists and delivered them to FSS. FSS is northeast Florida’s lead agency for foster care, adoption and family preservation.

Oliver Corneanu (in the green T-shirt on the front row) listens intently as his dad, Ovidiu Corneanu, demonstrates what an oboe sounds like to KCDC students.

Keystone Child Development Center enjoyed a fun holiday concert by Navy Band Southeast’s Woodwind Quintetnamed Fair Winds. The performance was extra special for one KCDC student, 3-year-old Oliver Corneanu, whose father, Ovidiu Corneanu, plays the oboe in the quintet. Oliver is in KCDC’s Early Intervention Program. The kids loved the music. Each musician explained how his or her instrument works.
