Early Intervention

Early Intervention Program

Keystone Behavioral Pediatrics recognizes that early identification, intervention and treatment are key to maximizing potential and preventing major challenges throughout a child’s life. Incidentally, children often have multiple issues and diagnoses and require an interdisciplinary approach that unites all areas—science, medicine, therapy and education—to treat the problems and injuries that affect a child’s development.

The Early Intervention Program allows us to extend that interdisciplinary approach into our classrooms. Upon admission, assessments are completed to identify language, development and behavioral needs. A comprehensive and individualized program is then developed for each student. Qualified clinicians strive to facilitate learning and interactions in the classroom, reduce problem behaviors and promote acquisition of appropriate skills. Students enrolled in the Early Intervention Program are members of their corresponding classes while simultaneously receiving individualized support and instruction to help them achieve success both in and out of the classroom.
