A Story of Success

A two-year-old girl was referred to the clinic for the treatment of food selectivity and food refusal. At the time of intake, she would only consume chips, sugar cereal, pretzels and Oreo cookies. She did not use utensils to feed herself and any presentation of non-preferred or new foods would result in a tantrum. Through treatment by our interdisciplinary team, she now eats 22 different foods from each of the food categories, properly uses utensils and has no outbursts or tantrums during meals.
